Our Co-founder, Divesh Bathija, was honored to be invited by Kathmandu Metropolitan City to speak at the prestigious Educational Conference on Enabling Innovations. The conference brought together educators, policymakers, and thought leaders to discuss the future of education and the need for transformative practices in classrooms. Representing Embark UnMath, Divesh shared our journey of reimagining math education through experiential learning, creative problem-solving, and real-world connections. He showcased how our programs are not only helping students overcome their fear of mathematics but also empowering teachers with innovative methods and meaningful tools. His session emphasized the importance of curiosity, context, and collaboration in math learning—highlighting how UnMath is actively reshaping classroom experiences and creating a lasting impact in schools across Nepal.

Divesh Bathija is a Math Storyteller — the first to launch the Global Math Debate League and a passionate voice for reimagining how we see math as a subject. At TEDx Ankuram Youth, he took the stage to share his mission of spreading the language of mathematics across the globe by inspiring people to explore math beyond textbooks.

In his thought-provoking talk, Divesh challenged the traditional notions of math as rigid, fearful, or abstract. Instead, he brought it to life through stories, real-world connections, and the belief that math can be joyful, creative, and deeply human.
